Charlie King

Charlie has represented employers in a wide range of employment disputes involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour issues, and breach of contract.  Having litigated matters in both state and federal court, Charlie brings a wealth of litigation experience into his advice and counsel work.

Charlie also provides advice and counsel to employers on labor and employment matters.  His work includes the preparation of employee handbooks, and other employment policies,  as well as advice to help employers comply with California’s ever-changing wage-and-hour laws.

Charlie graduated from the University of Washington, School of Law, where he received the CALI award in Trial Advocacy II and was a member of the Moot Court Honor Board and Students for Labor and Employment Justice. Charlie received a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Santa Clara University.

Prior to joining Folger Levin, Charlie represented public schools and private employers in employment disputes.
