Rosha Jones is a partner in our Labor & Employment and Litigation Practice Groups, and has particular expertise in defending employers in litigation and arbitrations.

Rosha has represented employers in disputes involving discrimination, harassment, leave of absence, wage-and-hour claims, retaliation, reasonable accommodation, breach of contract, and trade-secret misappropriation. Rosha has successfully litigated individual, PAGA, and class-action employment matters on behalf of both employers and plaintiffs in state and federal courts and handled claims before state and federal administrative agencies involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage-and-hour claims. In the area of traditional labor law, Rosha has successfully handled arbitrations under union collective bargaining agreements.

In her preventative counseling practice, Rosha advises clients on a wide range of labor and employment matters, including harassment prevention, reasonable accommodations, leaves of absence, and wage-and-hour issues (including regular rate of pay and payroll issues). Rosha also enjoys providing clients with trainings on harassment prevention and key employment law issues for managers.

Rosha graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law, where she received American Jurisprudence Awards (First in Class) in Employment Discrimination and Race & American Law as well as Prosser Prizes (Second in Class) in Constitutional Law and Refugee Law. Rosha received her B.A. in History and Political Science from UC Berkeley, graduating with high honors and membership in Phi Beta Kappa.

From 2014 to 2023, Super Lawyers Magazine selected Rosha as one of its Top Women Attorneys in Northern California, and Northern California Super Lawyers, an honor that is reserved for only five percent of attorneys in Northern California each year.

In 2022, Rosha received the Trailblazer Award from the Iranian American Bar Association of Northern California and currently serves on their Advisory Board. From 2012 to 2016, Rosha served on the Board of Directors for Dolores Street Community Services, a non-profit providing housing and immigration services to San Francisco’s low-income residents. Rosha previously served as the Co-President of the South Asian Bar Association of Northern California Foundation.
